recently there has been much speculation about whether or not this world actually exists (As demonstrated in the hit trilogy of The Matrix).  Take Jerry Pants, for example, nobody has every seen them, yet they notice them, they are bright, they exist, it's obvious.  They sometimes smell funny, when you don't put jerrypant-proof lotion on your legs and "captain's quarters."  Ok, so that is a bad example of whether or not we exist, but i tried, so there.
